I've been looking for a face self tanner for about 2 years now and admittedly I was looking in all the wrong places. If you want a natural and gradual tanner that gives a slight glow and doesn't make you look orange, your going to have to spend a bit of extra dollar. As with most things, you do get what you pay for.
After doing very vigorous research I actually went to the Clarins counter with a very specific product in mind. But after speaking to the consultant and telling her exactly what I wanted she pointed me in a slightly different direction. This radiance booster works by mixing two drops of the product with your everyday moisturiser. Sounds a little odd I know. But essentially it's a 'do it yourself' concept. I think it's an absolutely brilliant idea for two primary reasons. One, the moisturisers fake tans are made with do not always agree with everyones skin, this allows you to use your own. Secondly, you can decide the intensity of your tan. So essentially you are in complete control of the product which is exactly what you want with something like fake tan.
The application is also a positive to this product. The way I apply it is by mixing one drop with my morning moisturiser, Liz Earle Superskin. Then mixing two drops with my Clarins Multi Active Night in the evening. I cannot stress enough how much you have to wash your hands after, or you will be caught tan handed. I will post an update on this in about a weeks time because obviously this is after only three days of using it. But so far I love it!
